PROVISIONAL MEASURES COVERING EXEMPTION FROM

IMPORT DUTY OF MEDICINES FOR THE USE OF WOUNDED

SOLDIERS AND CIVILIANS.

ARTICLE ONE,

Matters relating to import duty on medicines

for the use of wounded soldiers and civilians, and those

concerning the certifying and inspection of such medicines

shall be governed by these Measures.

ARTICLE TWO.

Medicines for the use of wounded soldiers and

civilians, covered by these Measures, shall be confined to those

mentioned in the list.

ARTICLE THREE.- A central or local government office, or a

recognised organisation purchasing any medicines mentioned in

the list, shall be exempted from payment of import duty.

ARTICLE FOUR. After enforcement of these Measures, the

National Health Administration shall communicate with various

provincial and municipal governments urging the dispensaries

in their respective districts to purchase immediately the

medicines mentioned in the list in order to meet their needs.

Any dispensary purchasing the medicines mentioned in the list

shall be exempt from the payment of import duty.

ARTICLE FIVE. Where a dispensary in a province or municipality

is exempted from the payment of import duty, on the medicines

mentioned in the list, it must not sell such medicines at more
